The Rules Do Not Apply – Ariel Levy

New Memoir – Out This Week!

Ariel Levy, a New Yorker writer, expands upon her essay, Thanksgiving in Mongolia, in this raw, heartfelt memoir. I don’t want to give up too much of the storyline of this book, as the unfolding is the very best part. But, as she indicates in the early pages, it is a look at grief and recovery. Her prose feels journalistic in that it is clear and detailed; her story is not to be missed. If you liked The Argonauts, you will want to pick this one up.

I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Thanks!
